It is a real privilege to be the Headteacher of Manuden Primary School.

Manuden is a small village school with a strong sense of community and big ambitions for every child. Our vision, “Growing Hearts, Growing Minds, Growing Dreams”, captures what we want for our pupils: children who are kind and confident, curious about the world around them and ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.

One of the great strengths of being a small school is that we know our children and families extremely well. Every child should feel safe, valued and included, while also being challenged and supported to achieve their very best.

We have high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development. Through a rich and engaging curriculum, we help children develop resilience, independence and a genuine love of learning. Just as importantly, we want Manuden to be a school where children are happy to come each morning and proud to belong.

Our staff, governors, families and wider community all play an important part in school life. I believe strongly in working together openly and positively so that every child receives the best possible experience and has the opportunity to flourish.
