I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of Manuden Primary School, "A small school with big ideas... Growing hearts, Growing minds, Growing dreams." This vision reflects my commitment to nurturing each child’s unique potential while fostering a lifelong love of learning and a strong, supportive community, alongside our dedicated team and active governors.

At Manuden, everyone is welcomed and valued. Curiosity and creativity are celebrated, and individuality is embraced. Through inspirational teaching and a culture of possibility, we strive to ensure that every child can achieve their full potential. We believe in a growth mindset, where effort, perseverance, and resilience are as important as natural ability.

Our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in January 2023 and our high academic standards are just part of our story. Through an ambitious and innovative curriculum, we inspire children to explore, invent, and create—helping them become confident, bold, and resilient learners.

We are equally committed to developing the whole child. This was recognised in our ‘Outstanding’ grading for pupil development in 2023:

"…trips and the PSHE curriculum combine to give pupils an exceptional experience. Residential trips to promote independence and opportunities for pupils to debate different ideas also help develop pupils’ character.
